IF YOU DROP OFF A MONITOR OR TV, STATE LAW REQUIRES YOU TO FILL OUT A FORM WITH YOUR NAME, ADDRESS, AND PHONE NUMBER.
Volunteers disassemble all computers and other electronic waste for their valuable metals and their wire. 97% of all electronic waste can be recovered and used again.
California Grey Bears also donates workable computers to charitable organizations and handicapped people who qualify. If you think your organization may qualify, call (831) 479-1055 extension 107.
Complete computers, laptops, electronic devices and computer parts can be bought at the computer store at reasonable prices. Store hours are 9:30 a.m. till 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The volunteers running the store need time off so it is wise to call before you come by.
